Apply for Tax-Exempt Status

  • Create a “Business” account on the Western Digital Store (shop.westerndigital.com/store/login) and enter “Business Name”
  • If you already have an account, please email your request to have business information added to ecomUStaxexemption@wdc.com
  • With the email account used to create your account, send your request to ecomUStaxexemption@wdc.com, along with your tax-exempt or resale certificate. For customers with shipments to multiple states, documents will be required for each state shipped to.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for verification
  • Once verified, you will receive an email from ecomUStaxexemption@wdc.com informing you of tax-exemption approval
  • Log into your account prior to making purchases to ensure your tax-exemption is triggered at checkout
